Welcome to the practice

Enquiries about becoming a patient at Hampton & South Medical Centre are welcome and are best directed to Monica, our Registered Nurse.

As a solo GP practice, the focus is on continuity of care with patients who wish to attend the practice on an ongoing basis. This supports safer, more consistent and more personalised medical care over time.

When your regular GP is unavailable

If your regular GP or clinic is unable to provide care, you may consider attending a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic.

These clinics are funded by the Federal Government and are intended to assist patients with urgent, but non-emergency, health concerns when their usual General Practice is unavailable.

Urgent Care Clinics are not intended to replace ongoing GP care.

Please see below for links to Urgent Care Clinics.

New Patient Enquiry

If you are considering becoming a patient, you may complete the form below. In general, this enquiry should be completed by the person seeking care, unless the patient is a minor under parental care.

First appointment information

Please bring as much relevant medical documentation as possible to your first appointment, including medication lists, recent test results, specialist letters and hospital summaries.

Where necessary, the practice may contact previously consulted GPs, specialists or hospitals for further information.

Masks and respiratory symptoms

If you have fever, cough, cold symptoms, sinus symptoms, sore throat, tonsillitis or other respiratory symptoms, please advise the clinic before attending.

This helps the practice make appropriate arrangements for the safety of other patients and staff.
