Bulk Billing

Bulk Billing has been available to all patients holding a valid medicare card.

Consultations are generally not bulk billed in cases of work related injury* or (unless currently unemployed) for medical assessments required for employment or other statutory purposes. In these cases a fee applies, which may also attract GST.

*The Workcare Insurer or TAC may be billed directly, instead of to the patient, with documentation confirming a valid claim and Claim Number.

Obtaining Your Results

The results of any tests may be obtained at a follow up appointment or, by prior arrangement may be given during business hours via telephone or email. If you have privacy concerns in relation to email, you best choose the telephone option. Expect a response to emails within one working day. Copies of results may be requested during a consultation. If symptoms persist despite an understanding of test results being normal, please attend for a review.

Repeat Prescriptions

In general, I prefer to issue prescriptions as part of a face to face or telehealth consultation rather than leaving them at reception for collection. The same applies for provision of referrals to Specialist Practitioners. This is per guidelines of good medical practice.
